For a more gentle procedure, the handpiece (including suction ring, motor and cutting head) is assembled already before its positioning on the eye and so minimizes the contact time with the patient.

At only 107g, the titanium handpiece is very lightweight. The design of the suction ring and cutting head allows greater freedom of choice of the hinge position which is especially advantageous for astigmatism treatments. In addition, it enables monitoring the complete cutting process.



Flap size, flap thickness, hinge position and even hinge size can be individually determined by the surgeon. Even large flap diameters are possible, while a special safety system ensures a minimum hinge width.

The surgeon can individually adjust the vacuum level before surgery.

Included in delivery is also a sterilization box that enables safe and space-saving sterilization of all components.
